Established in 1996 as the first venture capital investment trust in T\u00fcrkiye, the trust focuses on innovative, technology-centered, high-development potential enterprises that target sector and market leadership and aims to provide value to all its stakeholders with the investments it makes.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The trust has determined its purpose as providing management knowledge and capital contribution to companies with competitive advantages in sectors with growth potential to develop projects that will contribute to the Turkish economy, ensuring that entrepreneurs benefit from this knowledge and experience in the most appropriate way by deploying the collective resources it has, as well as contributing to the corporate development of venture companies with effective portfolio management and exemplary corporate structure, providing higher earnings to its stakeholders than other investment alternatives.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cICU Venture Capital Trust was established in 1996, as \u201cVak\u0131f Risk Sermayesi Yat\u0131r\u0131m Ortakl\u0131\u011f\u0131 A.\u015e.\u201d as the first company in the sector under the leadership of T\u00fcrkiye Vak\u0131flar Bankas\u0131 T.A.O. The company&#8217;s title was changed to Vak\u0131f Giri\u015fim Sermayesi Yat\u0131r\u0131m Ortakl\u0131\u011f\u0131 A.\u015e. in accordance with the amendment made to the Capital Markets Legislation in 2004. In 2010, the Company&#8217;s title was changed Rhea Giri\u015fim Sermayesi Yat\u0131r\u0131m Ortakl\u0131\u011f\u0131 A.\u015e.\/Rhea Venture Capital Trust with the acquisition of the (A) group shares, which were put up for sale in parallel with the strategic vision of T\u00fcrkiye Vak\u0131flar Bankas\u0131 T.A.O., by Rhea Group in 2009. In 2022, the transfer of the Group A shares to the ICU Group was carried out.
